Hello! I'm Ashely, the owner of Focus Ashely Photos. When I'm not behind the camera, I am a stay-at-home momma with my two beautiful boys! Located out of Northampton, MA, I also travel all over New England and beyond!


I am a Documentary style Wedding and Lifestyle photographer who loves to capture every special moment & every little detail! Being a documentary style photographer means that I document the candid moments, the real and raw emotions, and I gently guide you with posing as needed. I also like to use fun prompts to help bring out those genuine reactions, smiles, & laughs. Each session is unique and special to me; I strive to make our time together FUN, memorable, & stress free! I have had so many people start a session by saying either "I'm very awkward" or "I hate having photos done", but by the end of our session they are always pleasantly surprised and happy with their experience.


My editing style is warm and vibrant, crisp and clear, light and airy, but also bold. Lighting, outfits, and location can all impact how the final result looks, but I try to keep it as consistent as possible. I know the ins-and-outs of my cameras and equipment, composition, & posing...besides that, I know how to have a great time and make my clients feel as comfortable as possible during our sessions. I will be your personal hype woman during our session! When you book with me, you book an EXPERIENCE, and you receive beautiful high-quality images you will LOVE forever. I got my first camera at the age of 10, and that's where my passion of photography began. I am primarily self-taught and have learned through experience (and I am constantly learning more every day). I know how special photos are; they are moments frozen in time...and I want to deliver these amazing memories to my clients to be cherished forever. Besides being a photographer, I used to work in the service industry, so I am very familiar and confident with my customer service skills, communication, and professionalism. I was a bartender and server for many years as well as an insurance agent. You can trust me to work hard, be reliable, be personable, be professional, and deliver an amazing product!
